First-time buyers still benefit from new home grants in Victoria
Despite the First Home Owners’ Boost expiring on 31 December 2009, first-time buyers in Victoria can still claim up to $18,000 to build their dream new home at a Peet community.
Eligible first homebuyers can take advantage of the First Home Owners Grant which can provide $7,000 towards the cost of their new home.
As well as this, new purchasers may also be eligible for an additional $11,000 First Home Bonus, giving them a total of up to $18,000 towards their new home at a Peet estate.
Peet Limited CEO and Managing Director Brendan Gore said first-time buyers should act now to take full advantage of the generous financial incentives still on offer.
“Recognising the demand for affordable homesites in highly sought-after locations across Melbourne, Peet is continuing to deliver a broad range of options that are attracting first-time buyers to our communities,” Mr Gore said.
“Peet offers a variety of lot sizes and prices meaning buyers will find a homesite that suits their budget and their needs now and into the future.
“All Peet communities offer good access to local facilities and services, including schools, shopping and transport links.”
Peet Limited currently has land available across Melbourne, from Cardinia Lakes in Pakenham to the new Skye Valley community just outside Frankston.
Other Peet estates include Brimbank Gardens in Derrimut, Greenvale Lakes in Greenvale, the established Point Cook living at Innisfail, and growing communities at The Rise and Tarneit Gardens in Tarneit.
In addition to the State Government incentives, purchasers at Peet communities in Victoria may also benefit from other Peet incentives and bonus packages available at some estates, which make it even easier and more affordable to build their new home at a Peet community.
